Virginia National Bank
Client: Virginia National Bank Location: Scott's EditionThe renovation of Virginia National Bank (VNB) at 1401 Roseneath Road is a masterclass in adaptive reuse. Located in the bustling heart of Scott’s Addition, this project involved transforming ~2,700 square feet of a former nightclub (the old Infuzion Dance Club) into a sophisticated, tech-forward commercial banking center.
Because Scott’s Addition is known for its industrial-chic aesthetic, Hunnicutt Construction had to bridge the gap between the building’s gritty history and the high-security, professional requirements of a financial institution.
For a Charlottesville-based bank entering the competitive Richmond market, "place" is everything. By choosing an adaptive reuse project in Scott's Addition rather than a generic new build, VNB signaled that they are part of the city’s creative and entrepreneurial growth. Hunnicutt’s execution turned a space once known for "ice bars" into a polished corporate outpost that still feels "Richmond."
